What is SSTOP Hunger?

SSTOP Hunger: Sustainable Solutions to Overcome Poverty is the name of the Universities Fighting World Hunger and Presidents United to Solve Hunger chapter at the University of Kentucky. It was established in April 2015 and modeled after the Committee of 19 at Auburn University

How is the committee organized?

Every person at the University of Kentucky plays a role in the fight against hunger. SSTOP Hunger is made up of eight Executive Officers and Representatives from various Colleges, Departments, and Campus Organizations. Representatives hold meetings and plan projects for members of their respective College, School, Department or organization subcommittee as well as involve subcommittee members in larger projects.

What is the role of a Representative?

Representatives engage their Colleges, Schools, Departments or organizations in the war on hunger by leading subcommittees and planning service, fundraising, or advocacy events.
